Ecological Environment With forest coverage reaching 62.96%, ranking the first in China, the province is endowed with clear waters and green mountains, and prime air quality. It is also rated the best in terms of the ratio of areas with excellent enviromental quality and the energy consumption per RMB10,000 GDP is as low as half of the national average. 
Tourism Fujian has rich tourist resources, including 13 state-level scenic sites, 10 state-level natural reserves, 4 state-level historical and cultural cities, 19 state-level forest parks, 5national geoparks and 2 national tourist resorts. Wuyi Mountains have been listed as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage by UNESCO; renowned far and near are also Gulangyu of Xiamen, Mazu (the sea goddess of peace) of Meizhou Island and Silk Road over the Sea of Quanzhou, Tulou cultural heritage of Fujian, and some other tourist destinations.

Entertainment The province has 8 golf courses up to the international standard and more than 300 star hotels, including many five star ones in Fuzhou and Xiamen.

Shopping The convenient shopping environment has been enabled by business outlets dotting throughout the urban and rural areas, and malls of multinational scale such as Metro, Wal-Mart and Carrefour have long settled in Fujian.
